After migrating around the country a little- Central NY, Adirondacks; Hilton Head Island, SC; Taos, NM then finally landed in Uptown Charlotte. Although living close to the lake was great, I always gravitate to any h20 since I was a kid on Oneida Lake.
Lake Norman became my happy place in 1986, my husband since 1999.
No matter where our travels take us .... we love coming back home to our staycation.
